Improvement on current espresso machine & grinder

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
    Hi,

I currently own a Breville 800ES espresso machine, and have paired it with a Breville Conical Burr Grinder.
Consequently, the quality of the espresso extraction is needless to say under average.
Not only is the extraction too fast, the quality is not even close to that which I achieve at my cafe.
So, upon vast research I have concluded that, although my espresso machine is not top of the range, perhaps if I improve the coffee grinder we may see better results!

I am aware that many factors are involved in the entire process - tamp pressure, coffee bean quality, grind quantity and the ever controversial pressurised/unpressurised group head basket...

So I have reduced my options to a select few... With the price range around $500 I am willing to stretch a couple of hundred over.
    These options are:

    Iberital Challenge.
    ECA KS Doserless.
or at a stretch the Compak K3 Touch.

Are there any other grinders I have missed which may better suit my price range??

Thanks for your patience in reading the above essay!
Any input would be greatly appreciated,
    Emma *:)

    Hi Emma,

Out of those, I would stretch to the K3.

By all accounts the Breville BCG800 is a killer grinder for $299 and gives most grinders in that category including the K3 a good poke in the eye ;)

Ive not used one, but the reports have been promising.
