Regrind a bag of grinds ?

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
My wife bought a bag of preground Lavazza decaf, for her evening cuppa cappa. Of course it runs a gusher through Gaggia Classic :-[
Im wondering if it would work to run the lot through my MDF grinder, or would it just block it up. I thought I would stir and shake as it went through. It certainly couldnt make the coffee taste worse ;)

DONT DO IT!!!!!!!!!!! More likely than not, youll choke things up big time and probably end up pulling your grinder to bits to make it work again. And anyway, the coffee purchased is best used as compost anyway. I certainly wouldnt drink the stuff ::)

    Just one more point.

The practice of RE-grinding grinds doesnt just choke up a grinder. It results more often than not, in the motor being burned out.

So usually no point pulling grinder apart to clear out - usually - it means throw grinder out & buy another.

OR, if you pour the grinds in very very very slowly while the grinder spins then you will get re ground coffee out the bottom BUT, the coffee is ground incorrectly and is likely to be much finer than reqiured. If you have a slip of the hand & tip in a bit much.....as above bye bye grinder.

Either way as 2MCM said above...........
    DONTDOIT, ever!

    FC.
