    Christmas again

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
As I had to pack up the M4 this morning for Ajay, I decided it was finally time to open the box.

Dogs are almost as interested as I am.

Its called space :D Well, a combination of space and time. Weve just relocated at work so I had to move our IT infrastructure across. While drinking coffee was high on the agenda, unpacking new toys was a little further down the list :)

So whats the mortar and pestle for? Grinder not consistent enough or is that just a solution for clumping? :D

    Re: Christmas again

Unfortunately Ive cornered myself into a position where I cant blame my equipment for the taste of my coffee!

The next step in the equation is learning to drive, and while Im generally happy with what I produce Ill splash out on a home barista course shortly to take full advantage of the quality equipment I have. Just needs to be in the home cause I really dont want to lug that brute around Sydney.

With one of these at home I dont think a home barista course is "splashing out" ;D

Wow...congratulations! Its a great grinder and somehow I doubt youll be upgrading any time soon.

It looks like Mazzer has put a new branded grill on the cooling fan.

    Enjoy the new toy!

Yeah, it sounds like one of our servers starting up - some serious cooling in there.

Thats funny. I used this grinder for Coffee in Good Spirits 2009. Unscrewed the portafilter fork. Marked on the colar approximate grind settings for plunger and syphon and away I went! No espresso. :D

Funny you should say that, Mal was just suggesting that I should do a cupping course to get the most out of it. Not a bad idea really.
