    time to step up?

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
ok, so the sunbeam is all good and well, but with the wife still persisting with this decaf malarky, i think i can swing it to get me a new grinder, and pass the 0480 on to her....
so the question is, would a rocky be a step up, or sideways? coupled with the minore, should i go further up the grinder food chain, or will the rocky suffice. dont want to have upgradeitis (sp??) too quickly, as i have been instructed this is my last coffee purchase for a loooooong time!
    thanks for the advice..

Krusty- take a bigger step out front rather than diagonally and get a semi-commercial grinder to match your machine. Look at Mazzer mini, Macap M5, Compac K3, ECM Best or similar. Lots of options from myself, Attilio, Veneziano, Di Bartoli and other sponsors 8-).

Youre playing with the big boys now and you need a grinder to bring out the best in your machine!

Luca was advertising some Mazzers that may be worth exploring if they still have some left. I think 2mcm had some Macaps advertised as well. So probably worth checking out the sponsor section to see their current offers.

    Re: time to step up?

I love the fact that my Macap is commercial quality.
It matches nicely with my Expobar Leva.

The only difference between mine and the last one I saw in a cafe was the size of the hoppers.

I cant see myself ever needing to replace this thing.
