K3T - curtain over exit chute

    Hi All

The flap of plastic over the exit chute seems like it would do 2 things:

    1. Protect a finger inappropriately shoved up it while turned on, for about a millisecond or two
    2. Obstruct the exit, keeping a portion of the grinds within the chamber

So, has anyone removed it? Is there some problem with doing so? Is it doing some amazing job that Im unaware of?

    Regards
    Andrew

I thought its purpose was to help break up the clumps.

I also believe it is there to break up clumps. It would be easy to remove but I didnt try so dont know the consequences.

I saw that was the main idea.

Why do you want to do that?

Thanks for the replies people. OK, so if its helping to break up clumps I definitely wont remove it then. Dont need any more clumps than I already have!
