    Breville BGG450 - modification

    Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
    Ooops, it was BCG450, found some of the threads now.

    A number of years ago there was a thread on here with a link to an article on modifying the above grinder to get a finer grind.
    I did that and it worked, but I would like to find the link and article again.

    If anyone remembers it and can give me a pointer I would be grateful.

    I want to try to make my grind finer.

    Had one for about 3 months prior to getting an ex-commercial cheap. You have to remember that the mod will leave the machine with no safety stop i.e. you wind it down too much and the burrs will clash and even potentially lock together so tread carefully

    It did the job though... was more than fine enough for my 1st E61.
