Replacement Handle for Kyocera CM-45 Hand Grinder
Anyone know where I can get a replacement handle for a kyocera cm-45 grinder? The bit you hold and then rotate to grind...
Emailed Orphan Espresson and Kyocera with no luck
If the handle has been lost--sorry, I can't help. Maybe try the Australian distributor.
If the handle hole has become rounded--I've taken the plastic bit off and hammered around the hole a number of times over the past years to flatten out the burring, and it's still going well. I guess when that won't work I'll get someone to do a bit of welding (or use liquid weld) and drill & file a new hole.
When the shaft goes, it'll be time for a full replacement.
Thanks Greg, yes it has been lost, hoping someone perhaps has a handle lying around....
Hmmm, no help yet, eh?
Are you handy enough to make one?
A small bit of steel--maybe an offcut from somewhere, or an angle bracket straightened out,
a small drawer handle and screw,
a drill and a small triangular file,
and a vice or vice-grips, ...
and you should be in business fairly quickly.
No luck yet thanks Greg.
was thinking something similar, even looking for a wrench/spanner or socket tool thingy from bunnings, might go in and have a squiz..
Can you send me a photo and some sizes. I might be able to make you a replacement.
