I've been travelling with mine for 3 1/2 months and haven't broken it yet. I have a small plastic box for my coffee stuff (aeropress and grinder) and assorted other fragile bits and pieces and pack it in my checked bags. Changing the grind is OK, if a little inconvenient. I grind fairly fine so the rest isn't a drama. I find the size of the jar good. Not sure how I'd go holding something smaller. Making 3-4 cups a day.
Nice rig, I dont have the aeropress though.... i like to bring a moka pot....

They are also a little bit smaller and lighter than the original glass container for anyone who wants to save on space or weight.
This just puts the Skerton in a higher level of durability....
