    Super jolly grind time

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
I recently purchased a super jolly and thought my grind time was a little slow. I have it set to 12 seconds on the double and it is still not able to produce 19grams in that time. Looking at other anecdotal evidence this seems super slow. It has had 220 shots through it. Not counting the 500g of old beans i put through it (thanks to a generous donation from a local roaster).

Could it be because i am single dosing, not enough weight pushing down into the burrs?

Would love some input from people who own one on their grind times.

Yes- that's about right. The ones I have seen are circa 13 sec/double.

Perfect! thanks. Was reading of times half that for 17 grams. Had me slightly worried.

My Super Jolly E grinds about 18 grams in 13 seconds. How slow is yours at the moment?

I threw about a kg of beans through it last week and it is down around 19 grams in 12 seconds now.

Next problem to solve, the 3grams of grind retention while single dosing
