    Rocky Parts

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
In my efforts to change the burrs on my grinder I have stripped most of the screws that hold the burrs in. Ive been looking to replace the screws with new ones, but coffeeparts does not seem to stock the screws for the Rocky grinder. Does anyone know where I can get my hands on these screws?

I have also drenched the grinders insides in WD40 to get the screws out and am just wondering if it will kill (i.e. poison) me if I dont get rid of all the WD40.

    TIA

There are suppliers of fasteners in all states.... they can supply nuts and bolts of almost any thread, length and head design..... take your old bolts to one of these and they would be able to supply replacements.... probably even in stainless steel if you are willing to pay a bit more.

Well I dont think it would kill you (having almost drowned in the stuff whilst removing frozen bolts, fittings etc.....) Im sure Ive probably ingested some.... certainly inhaled lots.....

It will certainly make your coffee smell (and hence taste) funny.... and for quite a while.... so Id be removing all of it before grinding any coffee.
