    Patience, grasshopper!

The SCAA conference, held a few weeks ago, is always surrounded by releases of heaps of equipment. It will trickle down to us soon ;)

It seems to be a super jolly equivalent, but with only one dose held ground at a time. However, you can defeat that to have it grind on demand. I dont know how/if you adjust the dose and grind. Well all certainly keep our eyes on this one.

There were a lot of interesting looking grinders debuted at SCAA. Im going to do a bunch of following up :)

    Cheers,

    Luca

Direct from Compaks new updated website - looks like it can do both a single and double on demand.

The A6 automatic is a totally automatic grinder that incorporates an alpha-numerical display that allows the user to access a 6-language menu to adjust the pre-selection of the dosis, program the time and date, include a welcome message and activate the dispenser cleaning system. The machine also includes a coffee counter and advises when to change the grinding burrs, adjust the dosis and regulate the pre-dosis.

    Highlighted features:
Selection of 1 or 2 coffees previously ground
    (immediate service).
Selection of 1 or 2 coffees ground on demand
    (fresh coffee).
    Advises when to change burrs.
    Promotional message in multi-lanuage display.
    Visualization of date and time.
    Coffee counter (total and partial).
    Regulation of pre-dosis.

    Motor power (hp): 1/3

    RPM: *1300

    Grinding disc (mm): *64

    Production (lb/h): 23-27

    Stepless micrometrical grinding adjustment.

I could give you the link to Compaks website but apparently they would have to kill me - so I am sure you can locate it via "Google".

Looks like the Spanish have got it all over the Italians on the grinding front lately.

And they can actually get stock to Australia too.

well...in Australia they do...because companies like Mazzer seem to have forgotten the smallest continent in the world...or should that be largest island in the world...or should it be both?
