Unhappy Help with settings Nemox Lux Stepless Grinder

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
Can't get the settings right on this one. Either too coarse or too fine even between one stop. Would welcome any suggestions. I'm pairing it with a Rancilio Silva. Many thanks.

    Welcome mate...

When I owned one of these impressive little grinders, I found it became necessary to adjust the dose in order to achieve the ideal dose in the filter basket. Not a biggy really and I still do it today occasionally, with my Kony when I'm feeling a bit lazy to start mucking around with the grind setting...

Thanks, Mal. I've been hitting YouTube and the purists say you should weigh the dose etc. I've just upgraded. Had the Via Venezia for ten years, which I loved and could use with my eyes closed! It's a bit frustrating.

Just a matter of becoming familiar with your new grinder mate...
Happens every time any one of us changes or upgrades to a new one.

Great little grinder the Nemox Lux. Like Mal I used to fine tune by adjusting my dose slightly if I couldn't find the sweet spot on the grind adjustment. If you're so inclined these grinders can be modified to be stepless, but it requires spending over $100 on parts from Europe.
