Eureka Atom or Kinu M47, Lido 3E, ?

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
Looking at an upgrade from my eureka Mignon which I find good but looking for something that has minimal to no retention, can single dose with (tight arse and don't like waste), is quite/quiteish, easy to adjust grinder setting and reasonably consistent grind.

Only make 2-3 coffees a day so being thinking hand grinder due to quiteish and very low retention.
Happy to be wrong on below:
Lido E sounds good and well priced but grind adjustment seems a bit finicky
Kinu M47 been getting good reviews, easy adjustment and good build quality. Don't think anyone stocking in Aust yet so would have to bring in myself which happy to if is ticking the right boxes.
Most other I've look at are either expensive or have quirks / compromises.

Any feedback on the two hand grinders or others I've missed?

past that keep coming back to a Eureka Atom as want to keep purchase to around $1000. Bit unsure as has a few grams of retention and can be a bit of a pain to single dose.
again have a missed other options that fit my wants list.
Casa Espresso and matth3wh like this.

Hi, I own a Kinu M68, which would fit your budget. I am really enjoying it, and there's no retention. It takes just under 30 seconds to bring 18 grams for espresso. It's brilliant.

If you haven't used a manual grinder before, specially for espresso, I'd recommend you try it before before you part with your money. It's not for everyone, and you may find that the novelty for manual grinding may wear out quicker than you think, as they take some time and effort to grind your 18g of goodness with the small burr sizes.

    Good luck in your quest.

Thanks MediumRoastSteam. That's part of my reservation of a hand grinder but retention adds to the drawbacks of powered grinders for me.
