    Isomac Professionale?

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
Hi all - anyone have any experience with this grinder to go with my Sunbeam EM 6910?

Would that be preferable over a Breville Smartgrinder?

    Thanks!

I don't have any experience with it, but reading site sponsor Jet Black Espresso's website "The Isomac Professionale is a good entry level coffee grinder for home use.
If the grinder is to be used primarily for espresso coffee, we recommend a grinder with stepless adjustment instead including: Lelit PL043MM, and Iberital Challenge"

There is a Rancilio Rocky with stepless modification for sale in the for sale section of this website for $250 plus postage. http://coffeesnobs.com.au/coffee-har...pless-mod.html
It would be a decent step up from the Breville Smart Grinder, but like the Isomac doesn't have a timer.

Don't get it. It's annoying to use, doesn't dispense into the portafilter well, and holds a lot of stale grinds. I had one at work and used to tip it forwards and bang it about to get the grinds out of the silly square spout. Although it is solid and likely to last forever...that's a long time to have an annoying grinder. Pick the Breville Smartgrind!

OK thanks for the advice, Breville Smartgrind would be better? I have just got my EM6910 working properly so need something that can grind fine and consistent
