    Rocket Macinatore Fausto

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
I recently purchased one of these to replace my faithful Mazzer Mini manual grinder. I deliberated for ages between the Eureka Atom, the Eureka Zenith 65 and the Rocket. In the end I decided the looks of the chrome Rocket (to go with my Rocket Giotto Evoluzione) and the faster 65mm burrs were deciding factors. The quietness of the Atom appealed but I took a risk with the Rocket and hoped it was quiet enough. None of these machines was available to try out down here in southern Tassie so it was an act of faith

I am more than happy with the Rocket. It grinds consistent coffee quickly (22.3 gms in 8.7 seconds) and with very reasonable quietness. A heads up to Tasmanian coffee lovers is that Zimmah coffee, who produce lovely roasted beans, also are able to supply Rocket products at very reasonable prices. Its much nicer to buy locally. They also have a really good workshop for servicing all brands of coffee machines.

I also have a Rocket Evo and thinking about upgrading my old K3 push, currently trying to decide between the Fausto or Atom. I've heard the Atom is good, but find it kind of ugly looking. Are you still liking the Fausto? Any cons I should be aware of?
