    My K3T upgrade

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
Well I finally bit the bullit and ordered a K3 Touch from Di Bartoli Coffee Centre today, from what Ive been reading it seems quite a few cs have had a touch of the upgrades lately it sooo easy catch the bug around here. The EM0480 has been a great place to start and have produced some good coffee.

But now *home roasting with my BM I feal that its time to start a bit of fine tuning that you cant get with the 0480.I should have it in my hot little hands for the weekend lets hope! I would like to thank all cs for the wealth of information on this site. *Too bad I had not found you guys before I upgraded last time but not the matter. And again thanks all...

    Cheers Gra ;D ;D ;D

    Re: My K3T upgrade

    Hi All

Well the new Compak K3 touch arrived yesterday afternoon boy it makes the EM0480 look small, I had a play around with grind settings today wasted about 6 shots to find the mark then pulled my first real coffee.

I found it best to forget the position indicator and just work back from choaking a shot till your in the ball park then fine tune, I see now why you all say to get the best grinder you can afford first then the coffee machine Good advice!!!
Thanks to Di Bartoli for their prompt and professional service I am a very happy customer..

    Cheers Gra

Congratulations on your new purchase. :) Do you find there are quite a few ground beans left in the spout after grinding or is the spout fairly empty? With my Sunbeam there is always a fairly large qty. that discharge the next day when I tap the machine a few times.

Thanks. Have a look at my revised hardware list below. :) Just gave my credit card a workout. *My wife is flying down to Sydney next week and mumbled something the other day about doing some shopping at Bondi. I have convinced her to run a quick errand for me while shes there.... ;D
