    Cuisinart EasyPop

    Has anyone had any experience with this popper and coffee roasting? *Looks like it can take more than a regular popper, and even has a stirrer!

    It looks like the stirrer is a bit slow.

    I have a similar setup that was sold as a coffee roaster that I bought direct from China a cuople of years ago. Its a shocker, nowhere near enough heat and because of the teflon base the beans just slide around in a single lump. It steamed the beans for ages and they never hit first crack. I think the original beans are still sitting in it.

    I take it to some demos that we do from time to time just to show how not to roast coffee.

    ;D Thanks for that - glad someone else has made the mistakes that I can learn from. Will have to have another think about that turbo roaster......
