    Corretto goes nuts

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
Ive been pondering for a while whether to try roasting some almonds in my Corretto so tonight I bit the bullet and gave it a go.
Set the heat gun on fan speed 2 and gun on around 450C and away I went, after four minutes it starting smelling pretty good and the almonds had a lovely reddy/tan colour, pulled the roast at 6mins and cooled in my bean cooler. My wife provided the taste test and gave them the seal of approval. :) ::) ::) ;)

GM - I was on the edge of my seat waiting for your story to go pear-shaped... Heat gun explodes! Almonds burst into flame! Something like that.

Then I re-read the title. Whoa, Im so slow!
    Good one.

Let me guess that the next entry into your coffee cupping notes book will include the words "strong nutty undertones". ;)
