Rate of Bean Temp. Rise/Min. Meter (Roast Speedometer)

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
A member of H-B (Home Barista) in the US built me a prototype unit that gives me a digital reading of the rate of rise of the BT/min. Sort of a roast speedometer. This allows me quick control of the progression of the roast without having to make calculations or always having a computer hooked up to my ET/BT datalogger. Ive found it useful to monitor ramp speed and especially useful during and after 1st crack when controlling the finish speed. Recently a new member to H-B from Australia is working on the refinements also. Rate Meter

Interesting but I think the "roast speedometer" in our Roast Monitor software works pretty well.

Could be useful if you dont run our software though.

Yes Andy, Its meant for those who for whatever reasons dont always have a computer connected to their roaster.
