Go slow is what i would think?
Slow(ish) heat through till its in the tanned phase and then ramp it up ...slowing it down after 1st crack and then let it coast out to just the cusp of 2nd.

I roasted some Kona around 6 months ago and i treated it like an Aussie coffee. As its believed that our coffee is derived from either Kona or JBM. Im not sure about the altitude in which its grown but i assume its not a very dense bean?

Surely someone has roasted this bean from BBay?

I roasted some of this on my Gene. I gave it 5 minutes at 160 degrees, then 240 degrees until 1st crack (13 minutes), then back of a little until almost 2nd crack -- didnt get second but I reckon it wouldnt have lasted much longer. Stopped at 18 minutes
A nice chocolate taste and lingered smoothly on the palate as an after taste. I really enjoyed it.
I dont think I would do it any differently next time.

Done a few roasts recently on the hottop.
Gentle roast pulling before sc (~5 min after fc at ~208)
CS8, made excellent syphon and aeropress. Maybe darker for espresso?
