    First time roast on a KK roaster

    Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
    I have finally built my first home roaster and after installing a thermocouple and data logger, completed a few roasts over the weekend. The following profiles were my result;
    The coffee looks quite good, but will give it some time to de-gas. Immediately after one of the roasts, I thought I would try to log the CO2 being given off. Below is my logged graph of CO2 concentration of a 50g sample over a day. Looks interesting and not what I expected.

    Over the past coupe of years I have found that 5 days degas is a good rest time for most beans
