Hi, I have just purchased the Heatsnob. Do you have any guidance on how to mount the temperature probe in a Hottop roaster? Klauss

Not sure this question will stay on this thread for long, because it's more of a mod question, but essentially unscrew the back cover off the hottop (fan first, then the back board), then pop the chrome top cover layer (mine was two screws and a little slide), then unscrew the motor to give yourself some space. Pick a spot in the bottom left quadrant of the chamber wall, making sure it's inside the boundaries of the bean barrel and low enough to be sitting in the rolling beans, but not low enough to snag during rotation. Pop the control panel off to give yourself space and route the cable out wherever you want - I have mine pop out just next to the exit chute but it would be just as easy to drill a hole through the back panel.
