Having trouble roasting the Peru Ceja de Selva A
I hope someone can help me because I'm rapidly going loco!
I've been roasting for a while now and getting decent at it, but for some reason I can't get the Peru bean. I've tried most profiles and time settings as well as preheating. Sometimes I won't even get to the first crack, let along the second one. In the purchasing blurb, it said "easy to roast" so I'm getting a bit woeful.
Can anyone offer a successful setting for me to try?

Can we have a little more information about your roasting parameters, im assuming you are roasting in a behmor? But other information such as the weight of the batch you are trying to roast on which weight setting and outside ambient temp is also very useful.
I use a behmor ,with this bean.
350 gm green beans, 1lb P2 C on the roaster. This usually gets to a fast smoking 2nd crack about 2 -3 min before the end. I press cool then open the door for a faster cool down.
This works for me, I like a darker roast.
