Just saw this on Wish....anyone tried this domestic coffee roaster?
Newish here ...not sure if there is info on this roaster already (had a quick search..couldn't see it).
Just thought it may be of interest as it's a good price at $121. I see that people convert other appliances, this would be less hassle....

Gonna bet that hasn't been approved for sale in Australia or been through any of the safety tests.
Plenty of better options out there. A second hand Behmor 1600 can be had for $200-300, well worth the extra investment.

I bought one of these about 6-7 years ago (might have been more) and yes, it's certainly not with AU approvals and no, it doesn't roast coffee.
It steamed and stewed the beans for about 50 minutes and never got to first crack.
I now sits in the Snobbery archive of "they gave it a shot" collection, still has the half steamed beans in it too.
you should give those beans a go, apparently light roast and aged beans are all the rage these days hahaha
