Heatsnob Graph/Behmor Newbie Help
First time using heatsnobs temp logger.
Here is the graph from the cleaning cycle. (whoops not allowed to upload jpg?)
Not quite what I was expecting.
1: the temp rises steadily to 150 them drops to 80c. Why?
2: Temp remains constant till Behmor starts cooling cycle, upon which it actualy increases. Is this a normal?
3: What does the blue line represent/
Where is the temp probe located?
what type of probe thermocouple or bead?
what time does the temp drop and what batch size and profile are you using?
my bet would be the fan turns on and draws some of the heat out. Happens around 40% of roast time if I remember correctly
Thank You for your response , after 2 more hours of searching old posts found same answer for temp drop , still do not know whawt blue line represents

Hard to guess what you are seeing without a picture but... The HeatSnob just reports what it sees!
1: On a Behmor cleaning cycle the fan speed increases and will draw more cold air in than the start of the cycle (is my guess).
2: Cooling cycle is the same, temp will increase initially because the fans draw more air though.
3: Blue line at the bottom is the graph of degrees per minute.
