Re: Roasting Profile for Mountain Top Estate Bin 5

    Hi
Im definately not an expert but I did get a nice 549 from the following in my Gene.
    Quantity: 200 grams
    Set temp to 230C
(I had warmed up the Gene by running up to 200C then cooling so the temp at 0 mins is 60C)
    Now load beans and start....
    0 mins 60 C
    5.0 mins 210 C
13.0 mins FC occured, turn down to 228 C
    18.0 mins SC
    18.5 mins Rolling SC
    end.

The color was CS card 10
Leave for a week before tasting. I dont have any tasting notes recorded except "really nice". Good body, nice aroma, medium acidity.

Your Gene might get to slightly different temps at these times but it will give you a starting point.

    Mike
