Not bad having six of the 8 states and territories covered there - almost ready for our own "Federation of Coffee Snobs"

    I agree!

We have a couple of CSrs in Darwin and one at Tindal RAAF base, Tassie has plenty of roasting members but they are mostly spotted around the state.

Im happy to bulk ship orders anywhere to save some freight dollars. All we need is enough members in one area and a location for the courier delivery.

I remember JH and one of his ministers disparaging the Latte set so he is quite obviously an International Roast person and would therefore noy be eligable for citizenship.

Re: March BeanBay - Friday 23rd Feb 14:00 AEDT

WOW what a great list of beans we have this month.

    A blend:
African Red Sea Blend (in 1kg lots)

    5 top arabicas:

    Rwanda Cyangugu A
    Malawi Pamwamba AA
    PNG Marogogipe AAA
    Indian Tiger Mountain
    Zambia AA Lupili Estate

    A great robusta:
    Indian Bababudangiris Robusta

    Even some "unleaded coffee":
    DECAF Guatemala SWP

...and a small quantity of "revisited coffees" from last month.

    Bali Gunung Agung
    Mexico Veracruz Organic HG
    Honduras Marcala SHG Organic

You will also find a new item:

    "CoffeeSnob Charity Donation"

This month the proceeds will buy green beans for Grendel to run a "coffee drive" with 100% of the proceeds going to the WA Autism Association. *
(CoffeeSnobs will shout the freight to get the beans across to the west).

    Enjoy!

Awesome Andy- thanks very much for setting that up - I have had an offer from a WA roaster to roast the beans in their 30kg machine which is great (they also have the vacuum packing gear!).

I can now handle all the beans I get. Ill have to take a big batch of pictures on the roasting days though!

And you are a double champion for covering the freight costs!

They can be really BIG. I bought a batch of Marogogipe for part of my Christmas roasting and made a post about it, including pictures, here: http://coffeesnobs.com.au/YaBB.pl?num=1165610047/5#5

Andy - great idea about the donation box and even better about wearing the cost of freight. Good on you!!

Grendel - Autism is a great cause to support. I would love to hear more about how it goes

Ive chipped in. I urge everyone to do the same. Autism is a very important cause.

I got through - put some Tiger Mountain in my cart but then had to keep pressing the checkout button (kept getting error message). Eventually I thought it went through but got message saying my cart was empty - so I dont know if the order was processed or not.

I should have 3kg of red sea blend in the cart.
Hopefully it stays there when the system is back.

I think I snuck in and got some tiger, but then foolishly switched over to "my cart" to check that the order had gone through. Fortunately it was there however I havent been able to get back into the "bear pit" for some Malawi
