Monthly BeanBay GREEN Bean Release
SUNDAY 10th March 2013
8:00pm ACT, NSW, VIC, TAS
(I'm pretty sure thats the correct daylight savings times)
The new release beans that will appear in BeanBay are:
Rwanda Ruhuha $9.50/kg*
Rwanda Ruhuha grade 1. Super clean and well processed this dense coffee is another Rwandan cocoa bomb. Taken to CS9-10 on a slow ramp the acidity is tame and the cocoa and spices come to the front. As an espresso its mid bodied and balanced with a smooth mouth feel, in milk its even better. Great all round coffee.
Brazil Yellow Bourbon $12.50/kg*
Brazil Yellow Bourbon Especial Reserve is a clean, washed and near perfectly processed Brazil coffee. Good body as an espresso with woody, savory tones and a fair level of sweetness to balance out the shot. Will work well as a single origin for the fans of Brazil coffee style or use it as very balanced base bean to a blend.
Guatemala Jacaltenango SHB $12.00/kg*
Guatemala Jacaltenango SHB (strictly hard bean). Jacaltenango is in the northern end of Guatemala, near the Mexican border and even as a green bean this is full of fruit and sweet aromas. The same ripe coffee fruit sweetness appears in the espresso shot along with some green apple acidity that lifts the aromas. Stunning as a long black but also works well in espresso based drinks.
* price per kilo packed in 2.5kg CoffeeSnobs cotton bags and includes the FairCrack $0.50/kg donation.
You can select direct shipping via Australia Post (express or road) and Star Track Express (air or road) along with some other options depending on where you live or you can collect your paid order from Morgan Street (when I'm there, late afternoons preferred).

We hope to get beans to all the pickup points before: 22/03/2013
This delivery date is a best guess as we are often at the whim of couriers around the country. Generally when the beans arrive at the pickup point someone will post in this thread to let you know the time/date that you should meet for the pickup.
Please don't annoy the pickup points by asking for your beans before they let you know in this thread they are available for collection.
