La Cimbali M21 Jr steam wand

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
    Hi all,

I recently acquired an M21 Jr that Im in process of getting service/repaired, but would like to know if anyone has advice about the standard 4 hole tip that is fitted - is it o.k for heating relatively small quantities of milk, or better suited to large quantities?

Many thanks in advance for any advice,
    Mouldy

the one on my Faema e98 (A Cimbali rebadged) is ok, its fast on 250ml and if your coming of a small machine its a big step up on the power....

buy 4L of milk and just try different ways of holding your jug / wand depth etc i reckon

then decide if its worth changing

big downside i find on my machine is it needs a massive flush if left sitting for a while

Pretty much what I upgraded to (gaggie to cimbali junior d/1).
If you need a service manual I have one in .pdf.
i had a thread on the cimbalis steam tip options somewhere... (searches)...

    That might help a little.

Not as simple as just changing the tip, but it is possible to fit a La Spaziale steam arm and tip. Thats what I did to my Faema E98 (which is just a rebadged Cimbali Jr). Ive had great results with this. See link below:

Thanks BOOsting and Bill for the links and info. Much appreciated.

BOOsting, would be great to get a copy of the service manual for the M21 Jr D1 if possible. I have the "installation manual"; which has only limited information, but at least has a hydraulic and electrical circuit diagram.

    Ciao
