    Snowies - Crackenback area

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
Hi All! Road-trip time again, and again gripped by the familiar fear of being away from good coffee. Any recommendations for coffee between Jindabyne and Crackenback? Also going on to Rutherglen via Corryong after our stay in the snowies, so any info on coffee and food along the way would be most appreciated. Will also post in the Vic section.
    Cheers, Dave

For good coffee at Jindabyne, at Crackenback, or anywhere in between, pack an Aeropress, a good hand grinder, and some freshly roasted beans.....sorry but it's pretty grim there when it comes to coffee

Hi Gavisconi, sound advice thanks. I found a place called CBD in Jindabyne, they're running an Arduino grinder and 4 group Synesso Hydra and made a good piccolo.
I resorted to the Aeropress at Crackenback, they have a cafe on site called the Alpine Larder, the piccolo I had there was palatable, but they only open at ten and I can't make it that far into the day without good coffee!
