    The Grounds is a bit of an institution. Heaps of others too. Alexandria is coffee central.

    Thanks herzog- I went to the Grounds around a year ago and thought it was over-rated. Looking more for a small hole in the wall type place that roast their own.

    I had a very good long black from Mecca Alexandria over the weekend. Classic top tier Kenyan coffee, overflowing with rich berries; probably more black cherry than anything else. Slight roasty char to it, but clearly a top tier Kenyan.
