Any CSs live out in the sticks ?

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight

A simple question, yet the answer may mean that I; ask something of you :-[ ...

Do you live in Australia, out in the sticks ;) and work on or from your property ?

Consider carfully, before responding; either as a post here or PM and I will explain in more detail as it is of a personal nature.... At the end of the day, after all the facts are on the table; a NO will not offend.

    Regards

How do you define out in the sticks?
I live in a city of ~125000 people, but the nearest bigger city is 350km away, though I presume you dont mean people like me?

Depends what the devil in the detail is. My job often takes me to very rural areas (50km drive from the main road to the homestead for one place) what are you after?

Actually a wilderness type arrangement for my 19 year old son...

He has clearly stated and demonstrated that he NEEDS time away and some interaction with other mature persons or person....

He is a city kid, no real country skills but loves the bush...

Rats...I do love a good yippee shoot - man, I miss the Army Reserve!

    :-/

    Talking of which...

Get him to look into joining the Army Reserve - that will get him a six week (or is it back to two weeks now?) trip away to New South Wales, some harden up time, some bush time, get fit time and hell get tax free money at the end of it all.

That will remind him that home is very comfortable and Dads not the ogre that he appears to be!

    :D

We live on the "edge of the outback" to coin the tourism phrase. Our city friends say we are well out in the "boonies".
The little village near us 6 k away has a polutation of 10. No good coffee near us except for our own. We have to go to Melburne four and half hours away to find good coffee. Nearest town 35 k away serves c........x which to us is coloured water.

I used to live on 360 acres near Golbourne with my father but got sick of horses and...no water.

Im now in sub-tropical northern NSW..the view off my back balcony is a big hill which unfortuanately blocks my would be view of the ocean and sugar cane.

Thats so nice on the eyeballs. Where I live the only green has been photoshopped in. Been in drought for 30yrs. The Council introduced new charges (reasonable) for water so 90% of people immediately stopped watering their footpaths. Suburbs look like the Simpson Desert.
