    Hi iconiq

Lever machines are not as popular as e61s, so the few stores that do sell them are likely to have just one lever option available, commonly the Elektra Microcasa. Im not a fan of these.

Jack, of Sorrentina Coffee sells the pontevechio lever, which from most reports is good value, basic lever, though you would need to contact him via email and purchase online.

At the other end of the lever spectrum (were talking new machine) is something like a 3 group Izzo lever, If youre interested in one of these beasties, then Chris from Talk Coffee is your man.

So I hope you see, that it would be better to do some research rather than say, "I want a lever". Create a shortlist of brand and model you prefer, and I think that in that way youll be able to find what you are looking for.

    Hey guys,

Thanks for the replies, I left it pretty broad, because I didnt want to limit my options of machines to test.

I think Im looking for something like the Electra Micro Casa, or La Pavoni or something similar...

What in your opinion is the electras short comings?

    Hi Des

If you drop out to Real Coffee (Site Sponsor) at Lorn just over the bridge from Maitland, James has some machines in his cafe - I cant remember whether there are any Levers, but I think there were.

If nothing else, he makes a brilliant coffee and has a shop full of different goodies to poke and look at.

    Cheers
    Di

There arent any, youd have to go to Sydney, or find someone in Newcastle that has one and is willing to let you come and try theirs.

I swear one day Im going to open a coffee shop that supplies on all levels!!!
