Due to economic concerns, I am now looking for a new job.

I figured Id try seeing if someone here might know if there are any openings.

Im located in Sydney, northern suburbs/hills district.

If you know anyone who is seeking a qualified chef, please PM me.

    Hi nunu

Im sure you would have checked out seek. What exactly are you looking for - days. nights, head, sous, de partie, etc. ? Might help to know this so we can keep a better lookout.

Good luck with finding the right job - from what Ive heard, any good establishment would be lucky to have you!

Mainly commis jobs atm. I dont have near enough experience for even chef de partie.

A daytime job would be great, but obviously nights are where the majority of jobs are.

Im hooked up with the three major jobsites (seek, careerone, mycareer), and am also looking for a business. Obviously the job is an interim solution until I find a business.

I guess Ill probably be able to do some contracting, so if you need small dinner parties catered for, I can handle it too. Need a personal chef?

You couldnt relocate to the Southern Highlands? There is a ton of work around atm, in some very nice places if youre willing to work nights. Took me no time flat to find the daytime job I was after, and wound up cancelling some interviews as well. Its a chefs market here right now. :)

We dont rent, so relocation is just a tad bit difficult.

I would, however, love the lifestyle in the Sth Highlands.

    Try http://www.gumtree.com.au/sydney/chef-cook-kitchen-jobs_3078_1.html
Usually lists local jobs the big sites dont have.
