    Coke Black

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
    Hi All

This could be a interesting taste....

All the hoopla about the creation of "Coke Blak" was not too long ago and I noticed Coke Blak drinks at a local convenience store in my itty-bitty town of Buena Vista, Colorado. I excitedly bought a bottle!

A friend described Coke Blak, a mix of coffee and Coke as "serious" and "sophisticated" and suggested it would be a fitting "dessert drink." I would tend to agree with that assessment. The caramel-ish flavoring came on pretty strong as I drank it, which really did create an interesting mix of Coke and coffee. The portion I drank was merely eight ounces, and if that is the only size Coke Blak is offered, my hunch tells me this would not be the type of product to drink if one is desiring to "pound away" a cold drink to quench ones thirst. Instead, it really does have the feel of a charming and tasty after dinner treat!

I tried this in Canada last year. I didnt finish the bottle. Too rich and sugary for me; like most things in North America. Even the baby cereal for my daughter was loaded with sugar.

Was in Hobart last year, and an American importer had it in stock!

Fantastic. I second what Gra said, Caramel flavour, extremely sweet, definately a dessert drink.

Check local American product importers, they may already have it in stock, or should be able to get their hands on it for your.

    Cheers...

    think of it like this:

regular coke is like a long black brewed with a very mild blend - an ok everyday drink if thats your thing.

coke black is like an espresso brewed with a dark, intense roast - puts hairs on your chest. Definitely not for drinking on an empty stomach.
