    Wheatgrass!

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
    Hey all,

Just wondering how many of you have tried wheatgrass. More interested in if you have grown it at home and weather or not you got over it!

I've tried a few shots here and there now, I kind of like the taste inspite of how bad people have said it is. I'm debating getting some seeds and my own juicer...

I tried it when younger, but didn't inhale.

I have a book from the 1970s promoting alternative lifestyles. It has an entire chapter on wheatgrass including..wait for it...the joys and benefits of a wheatgrass enema. I took their word for it rather than try for myself.

Yeh, well I've got a book (ok, a tatty old magazine) from the 70s (or maybe 1981) that claims that space tourism will be an everyday reality by 2005. I bought it for the stories about Space Invaders.

Anyway, courtesy of google, I now know what Wheatgrass is. There must be heaps of very healthy ruminants roaming our countryside.

Tried it once when one of the juice places offered it, if it was cheap and easy to get I would probably have it now and then, but its neither

My wife had a stint growing and pressing wheatgrass. I think in the end she just got sick and tired of rotating all the trays and keeping up a supply of ready to press grass.
If you do it, make sure you get the right machine to 'juice' it. The standard cheaper juicers will not do it. We used an auger style one.

Do you still use the auger juicer? Apparently they do well with greens and carrots etc...

I've never really got the whole fasination with enemas... If you type "Coffee e" into google, the top suggestion is coffee enema. I'm not sure which bothers me most, that there are coffee enemas, or that people search for it enough that it is an auto suggestion!

I'm wondering about the enema crowd. Do they go through life seeing everything as a possible main ingredient for an enema. Like, how about a Beer enema? Oh, thats a nice looking paw paw, wonder if it would be a good enema.

With trends like that, who needs enemas, huh.

Anyway, try this link to understand why: Wheatgrass Enemas | The Detox Lounge Byron Bay
