No bait at all needed for these! An invasive species that is a major problem here not only for the environment for also for boaters. Hundreds (Perhaps thousands by now?) have been injured when hit by one of these fish when flying along at speed in their boat. They can jump over 3m out of the water and can weigh over 50kg.

Surely you'd catch them on the fly.

Some European and many Asian nationalities have no trouble eating carp. Its all in the handling and cooking, and of course whatever anyone is used to traditionally or otherwise, or what expectations they have of something.....

Minnesota is the 'Land of 10,000 lakes' (Actually there are a lot more than that.) which are full of great tasting game fish. We've no need to eat anything less than great tasting fresh water fish.
