Question for the tech savvy
I've just had Foxtel IQ-HD connected and I thought I'd connect the box to my AV receiver. My receiver is a few years old and doesn't have HDMI input. So I connected it with RCA leads and it seemed to work; until I realised the picture and sound are out of sync. Am I missing something in the connection or do I need to buy a receiver with HDMI?
Any help would be appreciated.

If I ever went that way, I suspect I would be looking for hacks / cracks on the basis that they are not fit for purpose as delivered. Especially after a friends HD unit deleted the movies he ordered after 48 hours before he had a chance to view them. Also incredibly arrogant and rude IMO.
Thanks. Yes, you can only hire a movie for 48 hrs.
