    Nbn

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
Can anyone recommend an internet provider I can switch to?
I was switched over to the NBN on the 16th, yes 16 days ago and I still do not have a connection.

My current ISP either can't or will not do anything!

    Any suggestions?

I have been with Internode for 8 years and only ever had two issies, the first being Telstra hardware and the second being the NBN Co disconnecting my port for no unknown reasons! Internode are owned by IINet however still maintain their own infrastructure and admin policies, they are middle of the field price wise but (for me) that is worth the reliability and consistent network speed.

I switched from Telstra to Ozemail 11 years ago. They were taken over by iiNet not long after that. I have always had good service from them and they've attended to any issues satisfactorily.
The switch to NBN at the end of July went well and I now have consistant speed for the plan I signed up for.
There was talk of iiNet recently being bought out by TPG, not sure if this has proceeded or been finalised.
    Cheers

Really comes down to what tech you are connected with FTTN or FTTP.

Easy way to tell is if they installed some hardware in your home or not.

Either way, SkyMesh or Aussie BeanBay get rave reviews on Whirlpool.

    I have FTTP.
In my case, NBN installed the outside box. Later, iiNet then arranged an appointment for a Technician to install the inside box and I was switched over on the same day.

I'm with iinet, have been for 11+ years, prior to that I was with Ozemail before iinet took them over.
I have spoken to another customer support rep today who advised me a tech is booked on the 9th to try to rectify the fault.

iinet was taken over by TPG a year ago and TPG has slashed the iinet workforce (Sydney office is now closed and looks like Melbourne is to follow in the next year).

The service from iinet was great, I can't say that now.
For some reason, I have the feeling staying with iinet is still the better option.

Yeah, sometimes it's "better the devil you know".
My email is still .ozemail.com.au so if I had wanted to change I'd need to change a heap of email contacts and hope I had remembered them all.
