    Angry Not happy with StarTrack.

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
Not with the drivers as I know Aust Post expects the impossible, with the daily quota of deliveries expected of them.

We were told to expect a parcel (not coffee related) today sometime between 8am to 5pm. The house was attended all day with the front door open, security screen shut, and a dog who acts as a door bell.

No one knocked but I got a text mid afternoon saying that a delivery was attempted and the parcel was available at the post office for collection. A busy post office at that, with a long wait usually.

Also there was the usual blue card in the letterbox saying the delivery was attempted, blah, blah, blah.
I reckon they must have a runner who runs up and down the street shoving blue cards in letterboxes so we can’t hear the trucks..........

How can they expect any respect as a freight company with “service” like this?

    Rant over for now.

hahaha join the club mate....late deliveries are standard, not to mention one stunning occasion when the delivery was returned to the depot because the driver ran out of time...classic

I had Star Track lob a satchel pack (with a Nuova Simonelli CPU pc board in it) over my front deck rail. I was thankful for the bubble wrap.

The eBay pickup option goes to my local Woolies. I asked how long they hold the items for and the reply was months... Actually suits me as sometimes the 5 days auspost holding is not enough.

Yep. That sounds like the best option now.

Last time I got a startrack delivery in Melbourne's northern suburbs I was at the park down the road with my kids. My sister in law told the driver so he dropped the package off at the park for me.

Where I live now delivery can take 6 days to 3 weeks depending on... Who knows what!

The upside is when parcels finally do arrive, I can pick then up at the roadhouse 7 days a week from 7am-6.30pm
