    Am feeling concerned

My wife has just finished work for the year and is full of ideas.

Not so bad, but when she walks from room to room with a tape measure saying uh huh, I have reason to be worried.

As long as it doesnít involve IKEA I should survive.

Brace yourself. Ominous signs. Do you like Swedish meatballs?

Perhaps she is confirming the tape measure works in every room.

She is dropping hints that she would like a laser distance measure for christmas, to speed up her necessary work.

    Maybe so Sprezzatura.

I think the best thing I can do is lend my car trailer to someone (anyone) for a few weeks at least. That way, no sore back from lifting impossibly heavy flat pack furniture boxes and negotiating the IKEA Springwood carpark with dozens of other cars with trailers, and drivers who have no idea how to reverse them.

    Harsh maybe, but true..........

    With you on the IKEA.

I'm the one in our house that always starts with the measurements. She sounds like a well organised person.
I managed to stave off the major renovations for 30 years (which has to be a record) but sooner or later you have to stop being the 'immovable object' and bow to the 'irresistible force'.
Cop it sweet - it will win you some points.

    Good idea.

I have the Disto D2 myself. You won't regret it.
