    Atomo synthetic coffee.

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
Here's a Kickstarter doozy, Atomo synthetic coffee https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...eated_projects

Love the 50's style comic strip pics, "No beans!" "This is really smooth" "It doesn't taste burnt" "I love it"

And you know what, being America it will probably work, crazy stuff

After reading the brew preferences of the Atomo team, I can't see myself investing. I would try it but hope I won't have to resort to synthetic coffee in my lifetime.

Can we get a don't like button for this topic

We've got some really challenging problems for smart people to solve .... Lab concocted coffee probably isn't in the top 1,000

    Cheers

The time I will be thinking about synthetic coffee is when the Worlds last crop of beans has been sent to Australia.
Perhaps this may be an issue for my kids but I think I'm going to be OK.

to be honest, i think the world will end before coffee is no longer agriculturally viable.
