!!!TAKEN!!! - Sunbeam EM0480 grinder Melb S.E. Suburbs
Just replaced our ailing Sunbeam EM0480 grinder with an M2M, and before the Sunbeam goes in the trash thought I'd see if anyone wants it for parts or try and resurrect it?
I have added shims about 12mths ago, but lately its developed a problem where one click to the right is too coarse and one click to the left is too fine? I suspect a worn bush or bearing or something?
Anyhow - free to whomever wants to come and get it from Cheltenham.

If you don't want it - semi tempted to take it off your hands and bring it into the office for aeropress duties
too fine for espresso? or too fine in general?
Yeah I dont want it, just dont like throwing stuff in the trash!
Not sure what the problem is but there is something up with the adjustment. We use it for espresso and it grinds plenty fine enough, but its either too fine or one click adjustment coarser and its too coarse. Cant adjust it in between any more. It maybe fixable but I've pulled it down and cleaned it out a couple of times without success and was getting desperate for a decent latte so bought a new grinder!
I think there might be a stepless mod floating somewhere on this site that might help with your problem!
Have you given this away yet? Iím interested in some parts from it.
Someone snuck in before you LeroyC, if they dont take it I'll let you know.
