!!!WITHDRAWN!!! - [VIC] RICHMOND - 500g of organic @ origin coffee - 10 days old

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
    Hi all,

as a thank you to this community for all the help I’ve received id like to offer to give away some beans roasted on the 28/10 which in my opinion are just getting started. They’re the organic @ origin coffeesnobs beans that took out silver in the 2018/19 golden bean awards. it’s not much just about 500g or so.

I bought quite a bit and I’m not going to get through them in time. Ideally you’d pick them up from me in Richmond Vic Today/Saturday or Sunday. Come and say hello and if you’ve got a lot of experience with espresso machines maybe you could critique my technique while I make you a coffee too! if not that’s fine come and grab some beans!

    thanks for your help everyone!

Why not batch them up into 2 day lots, seal them well and freeze them?

If it's done properly, I think its O.K. I'm sure others will say they can taste the difference, but you'll never know unless you give it a go.
As I understand it, seal with as little air as possibe in bag (tape top & one way valve) freeze, then thaw completly before opening and using. It would be worth trying with your excess beans, rather than throwing them all out.

Too true. I’ve divvied them up into 3 bags and we will see how we go. They’re in ziploc brand bags which are pretty solid.
