HArts on Main ,Main St North Tamborine is worth checking out if you are into good coffee and perusing local art.Artist Kym Hart,"Pro Harts son"and his wife Debbie have opened a cafe/gallery and are using Mount Tamborine Coffee Plantation beans.Worth a stop if you are in the area.

Visited Pioneer Coffee for a coffee after an overnight stay following a lunch visit to The Spirit House (Also in Yandina). Beautifully made cap using their Heritage Blend. Very smooth, and enjoyable although I should have possibly tried something a bit more interesting. My partner had a PNG Kimel A Espresso which was excellent as well.

Re: Gold Coast, Mt Tamborine, Yandina and Brisbane.

After an early morning swim at Currumbin Beach, the wife and I decided to check out the local Farmers Markets for some fresh local goodies for breakfast. We came upon two local coffee carts so we indulged a brew at each. The first one was relatively busy with 4 staff and approx 4 people waiting. The staff were quite friendly but did not want to talk too much about their plantation/roasting operation located in the Byron Hinterland called "Eureka".The wife happily took her Americana and we mosied on up to the other coffee outlet called"Landed Espresso." Here we ordered exactly the same, only 2 staff on,at least 8-10 waiting and the differance was amazing. We got a full rundown on the beans origin"East Australia Coffee Company"and through-out the conversation heaps of laughs and a never ending que of orders.Another flatwhite and fresh bread roll with locally smoked cheese on, and it was time to head back to the beach to check out the amazing sculpture exhibition.Ahh,The Gold Coast. 8-)
