    Coffee Snobs Beans and storage

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
    Hi folks
I got my first delivery of CS Beans this morning, right on cue for my morning brew! I wasnt disappointed. I ordered a verity pack containing 4 x 250g assorted flavours. Only tried 2 so far and they are both very tasty.

My question is, are those resealable bags that they come in (with one way valves ) suitable to store them in? Not long term...i imagine i will get through all 4 bags in the next couple of weeks at the most.

    cheers tony

    Gday Tony,
the one way valve bags are fine to store the coffee in, just keep them in a cool spot away from light.
    All the best,
    Steve.

To increase the life of the bags you can put a freezer bag inside and then the roasted beans in that.
This stops the oils from the beans touching the valve bag and you dont need to wipe out the inside of the valve bag when you go to re-use it. This tip is courtesy of TG
