    Hi,

Long time stalker first time poster! thanks for all the info you guys post up, has been great.

    OK to the question,

I have got a second hand Hottop"B" on the line I want to buy, trouble is the following statement on the HotTop AU page concerns me:

"Note that this is an official full-specification 230-240v/50Hz roaster, not the cheaper 110v/60Hz units designed for American power systems. 110v/60Hz roasters will not work properly on 230-240v/50Hz supplies and may fail prematurely, even if voltage-conversion devices are used."

As I am in Australia I want to be sure that it is suitable to our power system.

IS THERE A WAY (FROM LOOKING AT THE UNIT) TO KNOW IF IT IS THE CORRECT 230/240V, 50HZ MODEL?

    thankyou in advance!
    Cheers

    Welcome to CS.

If its a kosha Australian model production, there should be an electrical compliance sticker on it, in an obvious position, with the electrical specs on.

Yeh that would be a great place to start. If someone who owns one could take a quick snap of what it looks like and send it to me i can be sure i am getting the real deal.

    Cheers
