    Alternative uses for Behmor?

    Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
    Has anyone used their roaster for anything other than roasting coffee?

    Specifically I'm thinking about roasting cashews, almonds, etc but I'm sure there could be other uses than just coffee beans right?

    Sure you can roast nuts. Yakster from US based coffee forums roast almonds with it. I suppose you can even dry your used gym socks on a Behmor but that will probably impart a Malabar flavor on your next coffee roast.

    Behmor Coffee Roaster
    regularly roast peanuts.

    health food shops have them for around $ 6 /kg and my settings are;

    300g, "B", P2, 12 minutes, I take out the drum and put straight on to the bean cooler so less time if you allow the roaster to complete the cooling

    dont let them get too dark. They taste fantastic compared to what you buy in the shops.

    havent tried any others yet.
