    Recommend a Popper?

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
Looking at getting a popper to start roasting at home, I've read about a few like the Breville and Tiffany but can't seem to find any to purchase! The current target one looks no good, none at Kmart or BigW at the moment either. Any recommendations for a popper I could get my hands on that's not too hard to set up? (Not too much modding)

I live in Newcastle, the 2nd hand market seems a little limited. So far I've found a few possibilities, a Breville Crazy Popper, Black and Decker, and Tempo popper. Any experience with these?

I used a Breville Crazy Popper for several years with good results. Some poppers are too powerful and burn the beans quickly. The Breville was just right. You need to make a small chimney attachment to stop the beans overflowing as they expand. I settled for a tin can with the lid still attached in a small area. That allowed me to control the amount of air escaping at the top as winter came and went. I now have a Behmor 1600 +. It is a great machine.
