    The Coffee Barun

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
I have to recommend a site sponsor, "The Coffee Barun" in Sefton Park--north of the city.
If you like ristrettos--ask for a "Marks Style"--and if hes there, get Mark to make it!
A few good blends, and some great Single Origins, and always at least 2 to choose from, and all roasted on site.

Another vote for TCB, been very happy with the coffee and the service. Its a welcome change from Rio Coffee which has got a bit impersonal and businesslike (although service from their machine service division is excellent). Kudos to Mark for investing in something he clearly loves.

Try the bacon + egg roll for a quick breakfast if youre passing that way...

Where in Sefton Park exactly is the Coffee Barun? I work around the area and am always on the lookout for a good cup.
Is it in the Sefton Park Plaza? Main North Road?

    Thanks

A very big thumbs up from me too!

Went to Adelaide for a holiday. Best coffee my wife and I had in Adelaide by far.
    The food was also outstanding!
Had a good chat to Mark, his passion certainly shows.

"Marks Style" better? I would have to say both outstanding, just different.

If you are in Adelaide and dont visit Coffee Barun you arent a Coffee snob! *;)

I agree. I'm a regular at the Barun and always get a great coffee and service. It's the best place I've found that side of the city.

Mark is going from strength to strength. From an outsider seeing his growth is fantastic. From this dinky shop to quite a big joint now including a larger onsite roaster and possible expansion again next year he certainty is doing something right. Good on him.

I am from Brisbane but The Coffee Barun is the reason I became a coffee snob. Was visiting the friend few years and he took me there, oh my, we were ordering more coffees before finishing our first ones. Then they got me into aeropress, I got myself into espresso, then I started roasting, and now I am rethinking my future as I see myself trying to make other people as happy as The Coffee Barun guys made me feel. I was there again last weekend, and nothing was changed, still the same level of service and quality top notch.

The biggest surprise for me was that there was no blend on the menu, but the three single origins for 3 styles of coffee. Very refreshing...
